Fonts.

I think I have decided on the magazine name :
W.E
Wyke Entertainment

I chose this one because I think it appeals to my target audience of students more because it is essentially slang or 'cyber-text'. Students will think W.E stands for 'whatever' but I think this spin on it makes it seem more funky and communicates the fact that it is a magazine for students. Wyke Entertainment is an obvious name for a college magazine and isn't that creative but it's conventional and is expected. It also tells you straight away that it isn't a general magazine for students, it is produced for the students of Wyke Sixth Form College.

I have been experimenting with fonts for my magazine name and I wanted it to reflect the cyber feel to it. So I have tried a few block fonts. I may not decided to use them in the end, but I will superimpose them on my cover to see if they do or don't work.
