Evaluation- Final Feedback

I have recieved feedback in numerous forms and from a variety of people. I have recieved it from my media teachers in the form of written and verbal feedback and I have also recieved it from students in the form of questionnaires using mainly scales. I thought that I would get some final feedback from people who fit the brief of my target audience; 15-24 year olds who are fashionable and enjoy live music, they are to be both inner and outer directed and in the C2-E socio-economic group. I will also allow them to say what they like about my magazine and just ask them to comment on my magazine, this means they are free to say what they wish and will possibly give me more effective feedback than just a number on a scale.

Rock music isn't something that I usually listen to, but the magazine is presented in a really eye-catching way that makes me want to buy it. The colours used are bright and attract my eye, but they're contrasted to the black and white photo. I think that the girl in the photo looks effortlessly cool which will attract readers of both genders because girls will want to be like her and boys will find her good looking. The way the cover is set out is really easy to read and it doesn't look to busy or plain. The contents page is really easy to understand so I will be able to find the page I am looking for really easy, and the editor's box makes the magazine seem really friendly. The double page spread is set out in a nice way and the image of the girl looks really cool, the colours are consistent the whole way through which makes it look like a professional magazine.

I can easily tell that this magazine is a rock magazine because the lightning stripe on the girl's face reminds me of David Bowie, who is a rock artist. I like the colours on the cover and they look nice together and don't clash. I like the red banner because it cuts up the image and stops it from looking too boring. I wouldn't have known who the girl was if the headline wasn't there so it's a good job you put that in. The contents page looks easy to understand and is set out in an organised way but is still interesting look at. The big photo on the double page spread makes me want to read the article because she looks cool and is looking at the interview herself so if she wants to read it, then so do I!
